DevOps courses from Luxoft Training
DevOps is the practice of operations and development engineers participating together in the entire service lifecycle, from design through the development process to production support. It is also characterized by operations staff making use of many of the same techniques that developers use for their systems work.
Those techniques can range from using source control and testing to participating in an Agile development process. DevOps can be seen as convergence of several significant movements which had happened around 2009:
- The Agile Infrastructure, Infrastructure as code, Agile system administration
- The Velocity Conference, especially 10 Deploys A Day presentation
- The Lean Startup
- Continuous Integration and Release, Continuous Delivery
And it was backed up by widespreading availability of cloud and PaaS technologies. Due to its popularity and use we’ve decided to develop and add several courses dedicated to those that want to learn DevOps or improve their current expertise. You can see a list of our courses below:
SAFe® DevOps
This two-day course provides a comprehensive overview for understanding the DevOps competencies needed to accelerate time-to-market by improving the flow of value through the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Attendees will map the current value stream through their delivery pipeline from idea to cash, and identify practices that will eliminate bottlenecks to flow.
The course will build an understanding of the complete flow of value from Continuous Exploration to Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Release on Demand. Attendees will explore SAFe’s CALMR (Culture, Automation, Lean, Measure, Recover) approach to DevOps, which helps create a culture of shared responsibility for the full spectrum of Solution delivery. It helps align people, processes, and technology throughout the organization to achieve faster time-to-market.
DevOps basics
DevOps is a term emerging from the merger of two major related trends. The first is called “agile system administration” or “agile operations”. It sprang from applying newer Agile and Lean approaches to operations work. The second is a much more expanded understanding of the value of collaboration between development and operations staff throughout all the stages of the development lifecycle when creating and operating a service.
This training covers the DevOps principles. The goal of the course is to help participants understand DevOps through practical real-world examples and popular tools.
DevOps Fundamentals
DevOps Fundamentals training is the starting point for an organization going on the DevOps journey. Improved workflows and faster deployment starts with a core understanding of DevOps fundamental concepts by anyone involved in an Agile and/or DevOps team. You do not have to be a hot Web company or a monster enterprise to be a DevOps leader.
Companies, large or small and young or old, have magnificently made the transition and have the proof of success in their pockets. The training is on a basic level and it includes exercises, discussions and brain-storming sessions.
