The course deals with various features of the .NET platform which are used to simplify asynchronous programming beginning with lower-level idioms and patterns such as Classical Async Pattern, and ending with modern libraries such as TPL and Reactive Extensions. New C# features such as await and async are examined as well.

Objectives
Study existing features of working with asynchronous operation at .NET platform, including TLP libraries, Reactive Extensions and PowerThreading and review new C# 5.0 language features.
