Description
This course introduces project management in RUP methodology (Rational Unified Process), which is based on PMBOK. Software development project management is the art of balancing between concurrent goals, risks, limitations and conditions. The main target of this balancing is successful delivery of a product that will meet demands of both the clients and the users.The course describes basic principles of iterative software development that is seen as a powerful tool of decreasing project risks. 9 RUP principles are described as well. Students will learn about structure of 4 stages of software development project, their goals, success criteria and key artifacts. Scope and structure of project documents are examined.
