Description
This lecture is a journey over many RTOS features, focusing on VxWorks and what it has to offer. The general concepts are presented, followed by what is available in VxWorks for that particular aspect. The most important topics touched are scheduling algorithms, Inter-Process Communication methods, and how can debug issues be debugged in VxWorks. The lecture has both theoretical and practical sections, and for the lab part, Motorola PPC and Intel i960 processors are being used.
