Autosar Classic Fundamentals

This training is an introduction to the Automotive world and the AUTOSAR Standard. We provide an overview of the motivation and aims of the AUTOSAR consortium as well as information on the basic principles and technical concepts of the AUTOSAR standard.

During the training we will examine the layered architecture of AUTOSAR and walk you through the lower to upper layers, one by one, module by module. Participants will thus understand the advantages of using the AUTOSAR standard in the automotive industry (and the methodology of this standard).

As a Team Leader or Manager, after the course, you will become familiar with the AUTOSAR standard, including different layers and stacks, in order to understand how and why developers get assigned to a specific stack or module.

As a Developer or Tester you will find out about the AUTOSAR architecture - notions of Basic Software, RTE, and Software Components (and the methodology used by the AUTOSAR standard). By the end of this course, you will be able to identify and differentiate each module role, then fit it into the whole architectural scheme.
