Description

Yocto is an open-source project which allows for the creation of Linux-based Board Support Packages. Its introduction to Automotive Grade Linux has brought it more attention in the Automotive sector. This training gives you a solid understanding of the build system.

You’ll be able to understand the workflow of the Yocto build system and the open source meta layers structure. We will show you how to create and maintain custom distributions and create and distribute software development kits to jumpstart developers.

In addition the course shows you how to troubleshoot build errors and make feasible fixes (which can be contributed upstream) as well as set up NTFS & TFTP boots to encourage reduced boot and deployment times. Not only this but participants will be able to work with Yocto tools such as BitBake, DevTool and understand how Linux kernel development works in a Yocto environment.
After completing the course, a certificate is issued on the Luxoft Training form
