This course covers the most important aspects of Mergers and Acquisition transactions in the corporate sector. The key idea behind any M&A is to create synergy -- that is, a creation of value that is greater than the sum of the parts. This notion helps companies grow, find the money necessary to pursue new ideas and bring new and better products to market.When an M&A goes as planned the resulting entity has better economies of scale, uses its resources better and has a more effective market presence - all of which leads to more profit and a sustainable competitive advantage.
But mergers and acquisitions can also have a negative impact on the resulting company, its shareholders and upper management if the process is not handled correctly. During this training we will look at the key steps you have to be aware in order to spot a successful M&A.
