Descriere

The course is focused on System and Business analysts, who have to communicate with the representatives of the Customer and to determine basic entities subject to accounting in the information system (IS) and used in the organization business processes. The trainees will learn how to describe the domain – to develop Entity-Relation Model – with visual notation of UML.
Domain modelling forms the «general dictionary of entities» used in business modelling, with visual «language» (UML) which is used by analysts, architects and developers during IS development. The trainees gain experience of domain modelling with UML during several group exercises based on specific examples.

Obiective

To form the trainees’ knowledge and skills necessary to perform responsibilities of business analyst. During the training the trainees will form an integral view on work with the domain on UML.

After the training the attendees will be able to:
  1. Understand the significance of the organization activity modelling for IS development team
  2. Understand when the domain modelling is applied
  3. Describe IS requirements on the basis of ER-model with UML
  4. Connect the domain model with the requirements to information system in the form of Use Case Model
