Description

This training will describe Automotive Diagnostics and its usage during product development. It is recommended for people who are interacting for the first time with diagnostics, or for people with limited knowledge about the UDS standard.

In contrast, this course could be a bit repetitive (even boring) for persons who are familiar with creating diagnostic jobs using any OEM tool.

The following outcomes are expected for this training:

  • Complete understating of what’s included into ISO 14229
  • Overview of the most important diagnostic services

How to build or create a specific diagnostic request (only theory without practical session)

certificate
After completing the course, a certificate
is issued on the Luxoft Training form

Objectives

This course is intended to bring an understanding of automotive diagnostics along with their interactions, which are not evident through customer requirements. After this session, developers will be able to identify missing diagnostic requirements or contradictions during implementation, which the customer usually doesn’t know how to resolve but we (as a supplier) need to.

Target Audience

This course is designed for developers & test engineers who are working with diagnostics but don’t really understand what UDS is (thus usually have questions during services implementation or diagnostic testing).
