Description

Have you ever wished to have a magic stick? Or to say few words and everything to be set as pe your wish? Have you thought that some words would have the power of a spell? Well…. Of course, this might be perceived as unrealistic, but what if a part of this were to be made real?

 

The Art of Influencing training will offer you a perspective on Influencing, the ethical one. Strategies, tools, principles, and techniques are presented in the course to be tested and proven.

 

The training is focused on ethical application of Cialdini’s six principles to produce lasting change and avoid common influence traps. It puts stress on strategies of creating and maintaining trusted relationships, avoiding temptations to use it to get quick wins and interactively shows how small, strategic changes can yield lasting results.

 

During the course, you will be able to learn what Influence is and what are the steps of the Influencing process:

  • Gain Rapport – People who have excellent rapport with others create harmonious relationships based on trust and understanding mutual needs
  • Ask Questions – Find needs and different responses; probe to identify motives, attitudes, and feelings
  • Listen Actively – Listen and suspend judgement
  • Stress Benefits – point directly how your proposal reflects their needs
  • Leading and Pacing – Test interest through hypothetical questions, positive statements, and transactional techniques;

As for the best practices, there is some research regarding Influence.  You will get acquainted with Cialdini’s principles of Influence.  You will learn and practice the Influencing principles, but also how to lead and close the conversations into multiple forms.  With the final part of the course you will learn how to deal and resist to the manipulators. Several techniques are listed you to get protected.

After completing the course, a certificate is issued on the Luxoft Training form
